Moffat Engineering Services is a small professional company specializing in electrical installation and maintenance. We are fully insured and NICEIC registered. I am John Moffat, the Director and founder of the company. I have 17 years’ experience as an electrician, having learned the trade working for a contractor in London and subsequently as a subcontractor for various large London-based contractors such as Balfour & Beauty, Laing & O’Rourke, Barratt Homes, etc. I have worked on many domestic, commercial, and industrial projects throughout my career.

After some time, I realized that I could provide a better service if I could make the managerial decisions that impact the customer. I created a profile on Checkatrade and Rated People (websites designed to bring Contractors and Clients together) and found that by providing a first-class service, I was never short of work. Moffat Engineering Services was born on these principles and has grown ever since.
