Ensure the engineer has unimpeded access to the electrical board; remove any obstructions beforehand.

Provide the board’s location to our office prior to the test to determine if the engineer requires ladders

Ensure PAYG (Pay As You Go) meters have sufficient credit for the engineer to conduct the test.

Identify any damaged fixed fittings before the test, such as broken light switches or cracked sockets.

Unplug all sensitive equipment before the test

Mark up the fuse board clearly; correctly identify all relevant circuits to facilitate the engineer’s inspection.

In case the engineer deems the installation unsafe at any point, the test will be halted, and recommendations for necessary improvements will be provided to the customer.
